Sure, Pre-Wedding photoshoot isn’t a must for all the newlyweds out there but it sure adds a little more fun in the process of getting married, right? Here’s the side of my story that I would like to share with you guys. Read on 🙂
Months before our wedding on a fine day, me and Asyraf decided to get our butt to one of the biggest wedding event called ‘Jom Kahwin’ at Mid Valley just to look around and maybe find anything for our big day. There were lots of interesting and affordable packages to choose from – wedding venues, caterings, wedding cards, photographers and so on. You name it. After I have surveyed almost every booths without signing up with any of them, I intentionally walked around to another section which mostly aimed for Chinese couples. But suddenly, I got hooked to this photography company named ‘Anovia Bridal’. They are the one who shot the pre wedding photos for Lee Chong Wei, the famous Malaysian badminton player. The photo albums are all so damn nice that they had me paying for the deposit without me being hesitate. All I have to do was to set a date and book a flight tickets for 2 to Penang for my pre wedding pictures. I was beyond excited and dreamed about how my beautiful photos will turn out and the wedding gown that I could choose to wear for the shoot. But as months passed by, I kinda forgot about it and once I remember, I contacted them again and sadly, the offer has changed for a higher price. I didn’t accept their offer and so my dream of having the life like fairytale pre-wedding photos have crushed.
I still wanted to do the photoshoot and as I was checking out interesting venue for it, I came across Fig Tree Hill Resort in Penang. What attract me the most was the whole concept of the place. Villa in the woods hugged by trees all around and they came with a pre wedding photoshoot package right here. Therefore ladies and gentlemen, My pre-wed photoshoot took place in a secluded private villa in the woods of Bayan Lepas, Penang on 11th February 2017. The question is right now, who shot the photos? Good question. With a help of our good friend, Anip, we finally found our photographer without any charge. Hehe.
Before you scroll down to see my pre wedding pictures, there are a few tips that you should consider before doing the photoshoot:
- Suitable outfit
- Make up artist
- Hair stylist
- Props (if needed)
- Mineral water
- Comfortable flip flop
So there you have it. There are tons of photos actually but I only picked some of my faves to share with the world 🙂 I had a lot of fun during the whole process of stop, pose and getting myself and Asyraf snapped in all of the photos. It sure was tiresome getting around all sweaty especially when I had to walk in high heels. But despite all these, I would like to give a big thanks to my best friends, Anip who willingly became our photographer and keep up with us. And not to forget Sheena, the one who were always there from the beginning of my wedding preparation until the arrival of my big day. Much loveeeee!
