Who needs to book an expensive flight ticket to Bali and stay at an exclusive private pool villa when you can get to stay the night at this superb Gerimis Senja Villa where it can be reached within 45 minutes from Kuala Lumpur? (Sorry for making you loose your breath for a while there :p ) Yep, that’s right. You heard me! I’ve been eyeing on this place ever since I found out about it and to be able to finally set foot over here is a total bliss because it looks prettier than the pictures I’ve seen on the website. No lie. Here are the proof..
The first thing we noticed upon stepping inside this gem was of course the infinity pool! We couldn’t help but to jump right in and felt like lying down on that cute sunflower float all day long. Well, honestly that was what we’ve all been up to the whole day. We spent our time by hanging by the pool, turned up the volume of the speaker and listened to the music, had unhealthy snacks (yummy!), recorded some underwater videos and basically just lazying around which was fun!
Apart from swimming, there are many other activities that you could do around here. As the day turned to night, we did our usual thing when we were on a vacation like this which was BBQing and just hung out, compete in a chess game, talking and laughing with one another. There was also a birthday cake and balloons as part of the decorations for our friend’s belated birthday celebration. Honestly, it’s kinda hard to get bored around here just because you can do a lot of things such as fishing, cooking, playing ping pong, exploring around the area, oh wait.. I guess I haven’t get to the best part yet where we all had the longest karaoke session of our lives because a complete karaoke set with up-to-date songs were provided in the house!! How cool was that?! Actually, the house rules stated that we were supposed to keep things down after 10PM but I guess we got carried away. Whoops!
After dancing and singing and laughing the night away, it was almost 4AM that we figured it was time to take a nap. The next morning, we went outside to the ‘pondok‘ nearby and saw our breakfast have been nicely prepared by the caretaker. While we were enjoying our ‘Nasi Lemak’, some ‘kuih muih‘, fruits and ‘Teh Tarik‘, we were also accompanied by cats and a duck that kept making noises and going a few rounds around our dining area. I can truly feel that ‘kampung‘ vibe after experienced these kind of moments. Hehe.
We planned on spending our morning on the swimming pool after breakfast. But sadly, time doesn’t allow us to do that for long as it was almost time for us to prepare ourselves, pack our bags and move on. But that doesn’t stop me from snapping pictures around the house and share them here!
Trust me, any of this pictures doesn’t do any justice on how great this place is! You just gotta go and create your own memories there. In fact, the price of the villa is only RM 1,000 on weekdays and RM 1,500 on weekend with maximum of 10 pax. If you exceeded the total of pax then you’re gonna have to pay an extra RM100 for each additional person. So what are you waiting for? Say goodbye to Bali and hello to Hulu Langat! Okay, maybe I’m just exaggerating a little bit but hey, it was worth a visit 🙂
P/S : A short video about this place is coming up soon!
